She was predeceased by: her parents, Geoff Kirby and Muriel "Mollie" Kirby (Howell); her parents-in-law, Norm and Ferne Stewart; and her grandson Deklan.

She is survived by: her husband Jim; her children, Darren and Becky; her siblings, Elaine Woodburn (Jeff) and Brent Kirby (Tannis); and her sister-in-law Gwen Griffith (Dave). She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
