He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Hicks and Myrtle Hicks (Spencer). He is survived by: his wife Jean (Morran) of Melita, MB; his son Lawrence Hicks (Carleen) of Ottawa, ON; his grandson Awley Hicks; and his siblings, Eleanor Fisher, Karen Hicks, Brenda Mitchell (Richard), Cliff Hicks (Shirley), Burt Hicks (Darlene), Ralph Hicks (Helen) and Lyle Hicks (Jean). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
