He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Butterfield and Hazel Butterfield (Dunning); his brother-in-law Charlie Moar; and also, William (Bill) and Dorothy Sellman.
He is survived by: his wife Irene Sellman; his sons, Jamie Sellman (Tamara) and Owen Sellman (Jen); and his brother Allan Butterfield (Trudy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the McCreary Community Centre (445 Broderick St, McCreary, MB R0J1B0).
