Margaret Quance wrote a sympathy message

“Frank and I came to know Paul through his wife, Judy, my best friend. The four of us spent many hours over meals (comparing recipes and (in)famous meals we shared together) and the bridge table. Judy and Frank were the experts at bridge. Paul and I muddled along, trying to not mess our partner's strategy up too much! As I recall, the women won more often. Judy and I worked together at the Winnipeg Grace. She was the one who re-christened me "Peggy", given that there were 4 Margaret's all working nights on the second floor at the Grace. Later, I had blow by blow accounts of Judy and Paul's (mis)adventures with building their lovely house at Matlock. It gave them so much pleasure over the years. Their later lives were plagued with health issues of various kinds. Paul missed Judy terribly after her demise in September 2016. I hope Paul is now at peace. I miss them both.
