She was predeceased by: her mother Elizabeth Fowler; her mother-in-law Lavinia Barbour; her siblings, Leslie Fowler (Jim), Margaret Turner, Gloria Vincent and Lavinia; her brothers-in-law, Kevin English, Junior McGrath and Al Barbour; and her friend Hilda Bursey.
She is survived by: her husband Gerald Barbour; her sons, David (Melissa), Gerry (Leslie) and Brad (Melissa); her grandchildren, Dawn White, Lavina Stacey, Alleyy, Cruz Barbour, Jason, Justin Barbour and Bradley; her sisters, Betty McGrath (Herb Spurrell) and Vicki Elder (Cliff); her siblings-in-law, Drexel Rose (late Dave), Ada Barbour, Barbara Barbour, Marion Fowler, Derrick Barbour and Ron Turner; and her friend John. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The family will be accepting visitors on Monday, June 29, 2020 from 2:00pm – 4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm (COVID-19 Alert Level 2 restrictions apply).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like to request donations in Shirley's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, The Arthritis Society or Daffodil Place.
