He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bessant and Naomi Bessant (Johnson); and his nephew Keith Morrow. He is survived by: his close friend Suzanna Carney; and his siblings, Bruce (Linda Bessant) of Brandon, MB, Darlene (Lonnie Dunlop) of Dunrea, MB and Sheila (Brent Morrow) of Margaret, MB.
