With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary Braun of Macgregor, Manitoba, whose life came to an end on December 19, 2024 at the age of 98, leaving behind cherished memories. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jake; and her parents, Andrew Hamm and Margaret Hamm. She is survived by: her children, Bernie (Eleanor), Art, Albert, Leonard (Pam), Vera (Glenn Loewen), Arnold (Olga) and Evelyn Wieler (Dave); and her sister Elma Thiessen. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the MacGregor Sommerfeld Mennonite Church.
