She was predeceased by: her husband Willie Peters; her parents, Abram Dick and Susana Dick; and her siblings, Abe, John, Barney, Lena, Marie, Agnes, Susie, Elizabeth, Agatha, Annie and Katherine.

She is survived by: her children, Gail Thiessen (Werner) and Mark Peters (Prospera); and her grandchildren, Emmanuel Peters (Lenda), Matthew Thiessen (Monica), Charity Welsh (Barry) and Raymond Thiessen (Lisa). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
