He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Plato and Frieda Plato. He is survived by: his wife Iona Plato; his sons, Howard (Charlotta) and Christopher (Holly); his grandchildren, Thea, Ada, Stella and MacLean; and his sisters, Irene Schwark, Irma Denisiuk (Gerry) and Marlene Fahl.
