He was predeceased by: his wife Yvonne; his brother Rene; his grandchildren, Ashleigh Cohoe and Brendan Cohoe; and his great grandchild Scarlett Charette.

He is survived by: his children, Joanne Cohoe (Peter), Dianne DeMeuleneire and Wayne Clermont (Lucie); his grandchildren, Dylan Cohoe (Robin), Courtney Charette (Glen), Lindsey Riglin (Shane), Justin DeMeuleneire (Nadia Campbell), Maple Clermont, Hudson Clermont, Logan Clermont and Mackenzie Clermont; his great grandchildren, Pierce, Autumn, Chase and Brooks; his siblings, Emile Clermont, Jeannie Currans (Frank), Charles Clermont (Sharon) and Ellen Clermont; and his parents-in-law, Simonne Hacault (Lucien), Rene Dousselaere (Lorraine) and Jerry Dousselaere (Patsy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
