It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Hellegards of Holland, Manitoba, who passed away on February 10, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rita Hellegards to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hilhorst and Laurette Hilhorst; her husband Elmer; and her brothers-in-law, Barry Uskoski and Ron Hird.

She is survived by: her sons, Larry Hellegards (Cindy Manastyr) of Holland and Brian Hellegards (Dorrie) of Stonewall, MB; her grandchildren, Tasya and Justis; her siblings, Denis Hilhorst of Fort Nelson, BC, Josie Hird of Holland, MB, Michael Hilhorst (Joanne) of Fort Nelson and Pat Van De (Ken); and her sister-in-law Irene Uskoski of Winnipeg, MB.
