He was predeceased by: his daughter Karen Austerberry; his parents, Theophile Baete and Maria; his siblings, Madeleine Fifi, Mike (Lucien Baete), Alice Van of Kerckhove and Germaine Haegmann (Angele Lebeau); his siblings-in-law, Leo Fifi, Lorne Van of Kerckhove, Felix Godard, Richard Van of Kerckhove, Marcel Haegmann, Roger Lebeau and Lorette Baete; and his parents-in-law, Roland Marginet, Alice Marginet, Adele Cabernel (Albert), Clement Adam and Armand Fifi.
He is survived by: his wife Marguerite; his children, Velma Scott (Ken) of Brandon, MB, Elaine Baete and Darren Baete (Tammy Dolliver) of Calgary, AB; his grandchildren, Jodi-Ann McDonald (Marc Bishop), Andrea, Adam Austerberry and Skylar France; his great grandchildren, Kali-Jo and Jai-Lynn McDonald; his great great grandchild Dayton; his sisters, Rose Van of Kerckhove and Mary Godard of Aldergrove, BC; and his parents-in-law, Anne Baete of Baldur, MB, Mary Adam of Notre Dame, Angel Fifi of Bruxelles, MB, Celine Lebeau (Renald) of Chater, MB, Robert Marginet (Jacqueline) of Holland, MB, Annette Wytinck (Bert) of Cypress River, MB and Alice DeDecker of Glenora, MB. He is also survived by relatives & friends.
