He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Hellegards and Jeanne Hellegards; his brother-in-law Barry Uskoski; his father-in-law Bill; and his brother-in-law Ron Hird.
He is survived by: his wife Rita; his sons, Larry Hellegards (Cindy Manastyr) of Holland and Brian Hellegards (Dorrie); his grandchildren, Tasya and Justis; and his sister Irene Uskoski of Winnipeg. He is also survived by extended family & friends.
