With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Strachan of Hamiota, Manitoba, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean left this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellery Sunley and Janet Sunley (Bell); her husband Garth Strachan; and her sons, Dallas and Dennis Strachan.
She is survived by: her son Brent (Wanda); her grandchildren, Sheldon (Chrystal) and Katie Findlater (William); her great grandchildren, Alec, Libby, Isla and Liam; her daughter-in-law Nancy; her grandsons, Tyler (Serena) and Joel (Michael); her great grandchildren, Emery, Austyn, Blake and Navy; her niece Lynda Jane Hoskins (Glen Coady); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justice, Stashan, Tannaysia and Kighe; her brother Lyle Sunley (Gwen); her sisters-in-law, Sheila Sunley and Joyce Dekoch (Strachan); her siblings, Bob (Edna), Russell (Ellen), Purve (Helen), John, Keith, Belle Butcher (Fred) and Gwen Elliott (Ed); and her sister-in-law Jean Sunley. She is also survived by Many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hamiota Community Centre (50 4 St, Hamiota, MB R0M0T0).
