He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill and Ethel; and his siblings, Muriel Nelson (Jim) and Harold McConnell. He is survived by: his wife Ida; his children, Dale (Kerry) and Barb; his grandchildren, Sydney Hewins, Shaun Hewins and Will McConnell; and his sister-in-law Evelyn McConnell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
