He is survived by: his sons, Glenn Giesbrecht (Lesley) and James Giesbrecht (Eva Reimer); his grandchildren, Tammy Crosby (Giesbrecht), Jamie Poole (Giesbrecht), Jodie Majchor (Giesbrecht), Jenn Giesbrecht, Laura Giesbrecht, Sarah Giesbrecht, Peter Reimer (Giesbrecht) and Justina Reimer (Giesbrecht); his parents, Peter Giesbrecht and Susanna Giesbrecht (Tina Giesbrecht); his son Wesley; and his sister-in-law Margaret Klassen. He is also survived by 13 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Jacob P. Giesbrecht may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
