He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Allan and Jean Allan; and his siblings, Jane, Alison and Hugh.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Elizabeth; his nephews, Hugh and Douglas (Jen); his niece Kirsty; his sisters, Nancy and Pat (William); and his brother-in-law David.
