It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Lawrence Thorson of Grand Marais, Manitoba, born in Paradise Hill, Saskatchewan, who passed away on July 12, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Joan Ann (Younger); his daughter Kelly Irene; his sisters, Doreen Thorson and Kathleen Buckler; his sons, Pat (Erin) and Mike (Diane); his stepdaughter Jamie; his grandchildren, Seth (Bridgette), Caleb, Daniel (Anna) and Emma Thorson; his great grandchild Blake; and his parents, Victor Thorson and Mary Thorson (Owens). He was also cherished by sisters and brothers-in-law and many nephews and nieces.
