The memory of Vera Mildred Bjornson (Glenboro, Manitoba), who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 76, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Steve; her children, Loren Gurr (Sheldon), Corey Bjornson (Larissa), Karyn Bjornson and Daryl Bjornson (Yvonne); her grandchildren, Mason (Lauren), Nash, Ella, Julianna, Naomi, Theo, Mykenna, Breelyn and Prestley; her brothers, Morris Drummond (Barb) and Dave Drummond (Janice); and her siblings-in-law, Debbie Drummond, Brenda Tosh, Corinne Torgerson and John Bjornson (Lorene). She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Glenboro Kinsmen Community Hall, Glenboro Cemetery.
Donations would be gratefully received in Vera's memory by The Glenboro Area Foundation, Box 147, Glenboro, MB, R0K 0X0, designated to the soon to be established "Vera Bjornson Music Scholarship".
