He was predeceased by: his parents, Amelda Dignard and Charles Dignard of Tracadle; his son Michael Joseph Dignard; his brothers, Alde, Delphis, Clarence and Lionel; and his brother-in-law Fred Major (Annie Elsbeth).
He is survived by: his siblings, Aurore Hebert (late Alexis), Noella Caron (Mel), Ava Thibideau (Pete), Odel (Paulette) and Tigi (Gail); his children, Michelle and Kevin James (Josee); his brothers-in-law, Dennis Doblie (Carol-Lee), Ed Heckbert (late Denise), George Grosch (Ellie Wallace), David Dobbie Jr. (Kathy), William Dobie, Clarence Fedyk (Daveena) and Al Smith (Cathy); and his grandchildren, Corey, Tyler, Kevin James (KJ), Natasha, Jacob and Jeanee.
