She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Slipetz and Verna Slipetz (Fred); her sons, William and Michael; her siblings, Ann Mandzuik (Bill), Jean Husak and John Slipetz (Rose); her nephew Michael Zawada; and her brother-in-law Nick Puhach.

She is survived by: her husband Fred Batyski; and her son John.
