He was predeceased by: his parents, Fletcher Tyerman and Mary Tyerman; his siblings, Bryan, Roger and Elda; and his siblings-in-law, Teddy, Lydia Dear and Bill (Louise).
He is survived by: his siblings, Effie and Ron; his wife Gwen Dear of Arden; his children, Gayle Hogg (Arnold) of Brandon, Shannon Yandeau of Plumas and Garth Tyerman of Ft St; his grandchildren, Matt (Casey), Ryan, Chelsey (Chris), Zac (Leah), Parker and Kylee (Sean); and his great grandchildren, Cassandra, Keeran, Liam, Tristen of Tyson, KC, Everett, Jemma, Gunner and Wyatt.
