He was predeceased by: his parents, Abraham Thiessen and Agatha Thiessen; his siblings, Ann and Pete; and his sister-in-law Anne.
He is survived by: his siblings, John, Abe (Pearl) and Helen; and his sister-in-law Marge. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews along with many good friends.
