He was predeceased by: his son Gary Jr. (Sonny); his granddaughter Skylon; his parents, Bernice and Walter; his brother Walter Jr.; and his nephew Reynold.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his daughters, Kathleen, Roslynn (Lester) and Treena; his grandchildren, Precious, Trinity, Denzel, Matthew, Billy Jr., Naudia, Xavier, Gary III, Arielle, Lyndon, Lorielle, Suniyah, Sunrae, Liam and Leland; his great grandchildren, Takeda, Elias, Giana and Giovana; and his siblings, Jocelyn, Pat (Woody), Roger (Donna), Janet (Karl), Jerry, Barbara (Rene), Melody (Blair), Donna and Nelson (Tiffany). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
