He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice and Flora; his stepmother Eva; his nephew Cameron; and his niece Amy.
He is survived by: his wife May Stewart; his children, Allan (Paula), Cheryl (Bernie) and Barry (Donna); and his brother Earl (Audrey). He is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
