He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franz and Anne Franz; and his brother-in-law Douglas Adamson. He is survived by: his wife Florence; his sons, Edward, Kevin (Sarah) and Jeffrey (Brenda); his grandchildren, Kaylee (Todd), Graem, Kayla-Rae, Gordon and Deanna; his great grandchildren, Chayse and Kinsley; and his siblings, Gerald (Jeanette), Linda (Richard) and Bernadine. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
