Mary (Sumka) Romaniuk Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary (Sumka) Romaniuk in Gimli, Manitoba, who passed away on August 19, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James; her daughter Lorraine; her parents, Mike Sumka and Ann Sumka; her brothers, Sam and John; her niece Joanne; and her siblings-in-law, Harry Romaniuk, Georgie and Lillian Romaniuk.

She is survived by: her son David (Svetlana); her grandchildren, Tim, Mikhail and Darya; her nephews, David Sumka (Maryann), Edward Sumka (Donella) and Harvey Sumka; her niece Josie Monkman (Jack); and her brother-in-law Lawrence Romaniuk.

Because of covid restrictions all family and invited guests only can attend the graveside service on September 4th at 11 a. m.
