Mike Gulak Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Mike Gulak of Gilbert Plains, Manitoba. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Mike Gulak to show support.

He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Mary and George; and his brothers, Joe and Nick.

He is survived by: his children, Pat Buckingham (Phil), Brenda Black (Dave), Anita Slobodzian (Don), Peter, Tom (Meagan) and Christine Miller (Kelly); his brother John (Georgia); and his siblings-in-law, Mary and Ed Kowalchuk (Eunice). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

During the last year of COVID restrictions and limitations, he keenly suffered his family's absences, and luckily, "Pete's girls" were able to step in and fill the void. Sundays were especially important as he would hear from all his children, and even his grandson studying at West Point.

Should friends so desire, donations in memory of Michael may be made to Gilbert Plains Community Foundation or Chatsworth Cemetery .
