He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Smith and Flora Smith; his brother Albert; his parents-in-law, John and Rosa Zimmerman; his brother-in-law Elgin Eagle; and his grandson Jordan Suidy.
He is survived by: his wife Victoria; his children, Wendy Cameron (Ernie) of Brandon, Jody Suidy (David) of Grandview, Bonny Neal (Dale) of Winnipeg and Scott of Halifax; his granddaughters, Jolie Bartel (Jon) of Swan River and Tiara Neal of Winnipeg; and his great grandchildren, Jordynn and Jayda Bartel of Swan River.
