He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie; his son Allan; his great grandchild Isla Sharpe; and his brothers, Ernest and Herbert.

He is survived by: his children, Garry (Deborah) and Linda Sharpe (Brian); his daughter-in-law Ann; his grandchildren, Scott Roehl (Kristen), Katelyn Wideman (Patrick), Adam Sharpe (Jenn), Matthew Sharpe, Christopher Roehl and David Roehl (Jaime); his great grandchildren, Ascher, Raegan Wideman, Greyson Sharpe and Emiko Roehl; and his sister-in-law Helen Roehl.
