She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Costen and Rachel Costen. She is survived by: her husband Lorne; her children, Kathy Thiessen (Vic), Jane Farmer (Derrall), David (Juanita) and Becky Hyska (Blayne); her grandchildren, Janelle (Laurens), Katrina (Paul), Larissa (Tyler), Tara (Darcy), Jenna, Morgan (Steven), Zachary (Kat), Dakota (Megan), Rachel and Dylan; her great grandchildren, Marcus, Willem and Olsen; her siblings, Barbara Vranic (Joe), Eric Costen (Gale) and Lauren Liebscher (Fred); and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Moorhead, Ernie Moorhead (Shirley) and Leah Moorhead. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
