He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Gard and Violet Gard; and his siblings, Rosie (Truthwaite), Nellie (Feniuk), Mary, James, Frederick and Robert.

He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Shannon Pyziak (Tom), Pam Holik (Ed) and Brad Gard (Paula); his grandchildren, Colton Pyziak (Justine), Carter Pyziak, Sabrina Heynen (Blake), Brittany Holik, Melissa Dawson (Cole), Ryland Gard (Maggie) and Macrae Gard; his great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie, Emma Heynen, Lincoln Pyziak and Walker Dawson; and his nephews, Stuart Gard and Larry Gard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fisher PCH Foundation Inc., Box 548 Fisher Branch, Manitoba R0C 0Z0.

“To my sister Diane, nieces Shannon and Pam, nephew Bradley and families: We were so sorry to hear of the passing of Charlie. Although distance prevented us from visiting as much as we would have liked, some of our favorite trips were with my Manitoba relatives. We were so impressed when we went to one of his auctions. What talent! Charlie was a wonderful person and will be missed by everyone who knew him. Love and hugs from Anna and Don Forgey”
