He was predeceased by: his son Derek; his siblings, John, Ben and Josie; his parents, Teofil and Rozalie; and his brothers-in-law, Walter Korbutiak, Ben Korbutiak, Clarence Quesnel, Darryl Martinson and Adolf Yanicki.

He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his son Brad (Dana); his daughter-in-law Candy; his grandchildren, Natasha (Matt), Nikki (Brandon) and Clint; his great grandchildren, Bennett and Naomi Saunders; and his aunts, Evelyn Quesnel and Marcia Martinson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
