It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sam Hucal (Ethelbert, Manitoba), born in Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dmetro Hucal and Anna Hucal; his brother Michael; and his parents-in-law, John and Anna Herman.
He is survived by: his wife Sonia Herman; his children, Marie (Dale), Carol (Leslie), Joan (Brian), Diane (Gill), Samuel (Melissa), Arlene (Mark) and Teresa (Richard); his grandchildren, Derek, Michael, Kathryn, Owen, Aiden, Karli and Steven; and his brother Walter (Alice). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
