She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Bennett and Ivy Bennett; her brothers, Harold Bennett (Doris) and Cal Bennett (Dorothy); and her sisters-in-law, Helen Goertzen (Victor) and Marion Gering (Roy).

She is survived by: her husband Dan; her children, Hal (Lil), Brian (Diane), Merle, Edward and Heather; her grandchildren, Tristan (Nicole), Chelsea (Elliott), Michelle (Denis), Samantha (Jared), David (Ashlee), Jessica (Dennis) and Cassidy (Christopher); her great grandchildren, Logan, Bentley, Emily, Ethan and Austin; her stepgrandchildren, Scott (Cherrie) and Shannon (Harold); her stepgreat-grandson Jacob; and her sister Kay Watson (Doug). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
