Lila Rookes Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lila Rookes of Elkhorn, Manitoba, who passed away on October 28, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Gregg and Elizabeth Gregg; her husband Billie Rookes; her sons, Gordon and Tom; and her daughter-in-law Dorreen.
She is survived by: her children, Jack (Betty) and Valerie (Gary Watson); and her grandchildren, Angela (Brent Fines), Jacqueline (Travis McColl), Christine (Jason Curtis), Daniel (Carroll), Nickolas, Terri (Bryce Eger), Michael (Leanne), Eldon Spears (Mily), Kim (Chris Zapesocki), Ashley (Cody Moulson), Tiphany (Curtis Gardham) and Tanner (Meghan). She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in memory of Lila.
