He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo Menard and Germaine Menard; his brothers, Louis, Gilbert and Roger; and his brother-in-law Tom Loughlin (David Ash).

He is survived by: his daughters, Lynne Williment (Jeff) and Susan Demkowsky (Allan); his grandchildren, Steven Knelsen, Brandon Williment, Jessica Belhumeur (Ben), Curtis Belhumeur, Lindsay Copp (Riley) and Danica Demkowsky; his great grandchildren, Grayson, Everett and Saylor Graham; and his siblings, Fernand Menard, Angele Loughlin, Merise Ash, Ann Marie Schneider (Ed), Denis Menard (Noella) and Rita Chambers (Gary). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, many relatives, and friends.

Memorial donations can be made to a local charity in the Cartier Municipality.
