He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilhelm Single and Eva Single; his siblings, Ernie, Florence (Bill Sellers) and Edna (Alvin Kornelson); and his brothers-in-law, Herb Schmidt and Norman Rattai.
He is survived by: his siblings, Erwin (Eleanor), Beatrice and Lorraine; and his sister-in-law Eileen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
