He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his children, Angela Vaags (Martin Hass), Jordan Vaags, Derrick Vaags (Narpinder Rehallu) and Alex (Leah Vaags); his grandchildren, Clarky, Vivian and Nicola Vaags; and his mother Sarah Vaags. He is also survived by siblings and many nieces and nephews.
