We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2021, at the age of 86, Sally Makowski (Dauphin, Manitoba), born in Ethelbert, Manitoba passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Taras Romaniuk and Mary Romaniuk (Paley); her husband Steve Makowski; her daughter Carolyn Barrit; her siblings, Alice Sawchuk, Edward Romaniuk and Walter Romanick; and her sister-in-law Savene Romanick.

She is survived by: her children, Garry Makowski of Dauphin, MB and Connie Sodomsky (Sean) of Winnipeg, MB; her grandchildren, Shawn Barrit (Jane) of Winnipeg, MB, Michelle Wahl (Steve) of Oakbank, MB and Ethan Sodomsky of Winnipeg, MB; her great grandchild Mack Barrit of Winnipeg; and her brothers, Russell Romanick (Eleanor) of Thunder Bay, ON, Orest Romaniuk (Donna) of Brandon, MB, Mike Romaniuk (Sylvia) of Ethelbert, MB and David Romanick (Carole) of Sherwood Park, AB. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
