He was predeceased by: his father Robert McPhee (Bob); and his mother-in-law Jean Burdeniuk. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Anne; his daughters, Jennifer (Dustin) and Allison (Brendin); his mother Helen; his brother Doug (Darlene); his nieces and nephews, Hannah, Tanis and Ian; his father-in-law Matt Burdeniuk; his brother-in-law Stan (Trina); his nieces and nephews, Jessica and Lily-Jean; his brother-in-law Mike (Nicole); and his nieces and nephews, Nicholas and Mikayla.

Should friends and family so desire, donations in memory of Ron may be made to the Winnipeg Pet Rescue Shelter or the Parkland Humane Society.
