He was predeceased by: his parents, George [Caruk] and Anne Atamanchuk [Caruk]; his siblings, Bill and Mary; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Semchyshyn, William and Mary Semchyshyn; his son-in-law Ricky Wyatt; his sister-in-law Elizabeth Seminchuk; and his great grandchild Emberleigh Matsalla.

He is survived by: his wife Helen; and his children, Barbara Wyatt, Mary Baron, Dave Atamanchuk, Cindy, Greg Matsalla, Brian and Launa Atamanchuk.
