He is survived by: his wife Pauline; his children, Laura Richard (Norm) of Swift Current, SK, Lyle Helash (Kat) of Riding Mountain, Darrell Helash (Claudia) of Gillam and Matt Helash of Fork River; his grandchildren, Nathalie, Taylor, N'Danis, Nik, Colby, Kyle, Tabitha, Renee, Jorja, Natasha, Cooper, Grayson and Harris; his great grandchildren, Aspen, Archer, Deekan, Holden, Uhriya, Myla, Lyle, Ava, Hadrian, Trajan and Orrion; his siblings, Mary Bernatsky (Wpg), Gladys (Ed), Kavalec (Montreal), Peter (Selkirk), Olga McQueen (Sudbury), Sylvia (Ed), Harrison (Minnedosa) and Donna Helash (Winnipegosis); and his in-laws, Paul Osadchuk (Karen) and Marion Jackson.
