Gunnar Damsgaard Obituary
We are sad to announce that on May 5, 2020, at the age of 97, Gunnar Damsgaard (Dauphin, Manitoba) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Myrtle Longphee; his daughters, Janice (Bruce Hale) and Marie (Don Michalyk); his grandchildren, Lisa Hale of Dauphin and Bradley Hale of Dauphin; his great grandchild Emma Yeary of Brandon; and his sister-in-law Doreen Livingston of Kenora, Ont.. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Gunnar may be made to the Dauphin Seniors Centre or to the Kidney Foundation of Manitoba.
