Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Anne Bohun in Dauphin, Manitoba, born in Grandview, Manitoba, who passed away at the age of 85, on December 19, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Yarush and Alice Yarush; her husband Joe; her son John; her sister Marie Kalechyn; her parents-in-law, Thomas and Anastasia Bohun; her stepson Larry Bohun; her son-in-law Jake Funk; her siblings-in-law, Mary Skakym and Peter Bohun; her nephew Darwin Kalechyn; and her grandchildren, Katherine Hyra and Noah Freisen.
She is survived by: her former husband Joseph Bohun; her children, Margie Bomak (Dwayne) of Grandview, Geraldine Smith (Marvin) of Winnipeg, Tom Bohun (Lorelei) of Grandview, Brenda Funk of Winnipeg, Theresa Bohun of Chilliwack, BC, Joey Bohun (Jackie) of Dauphin, Christine Bohart (Daryl) of Winnipeg, Sue Harochaw (Jeff) of Niverville, Sandra Freisen (Colin) of Ashern, David Bohun of Dauphin and Michael Bohun of Dauphin; her grandchildren, Jason, Craig, Warren, Jennifer, Abby, Casey, Sarah, Cam, Kyle, Kevin, Jacqueline, Natalia, Nikolai, Jonah, Teanna, Melina, Julia Brett and Tara; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Axton, Jaxon, Emma, Liam, Brett, Malenia and Corbin; her siblings, Pearl Maksymetz (Leonard Yakielashek) of Dauphin, John Yarush (Donna) and Gerald Yarush of Grandview; and her close friend Moses. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and many friends.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held at the Sneath-Strilchuk Family Care Centre in Dauphin, MB on December 24, 2020 and internment will follow at the Grandview Memorial Gardens.
If friends so desire, donations in memory of Anne may be made to the Parkland Humane Society.
