He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond and Eileen; and his sister Chauna Maier (Wayne) of White Rock, BC.. He is survived by: his daughters, Renee of Ottawa, ON and Danielle (Darcy Postlethwaite) of Winnipeg, MB; his wife Viviane; and his brother Blain Gowing (Marlene) of Edmonton, AB. He is also survived by many brothers- and sisters-in-law and nieces and nephews.
