He was predeceased by: his brother John Girard. He is survived by: his wife Betty Anne; his sons, Mark (Alyssa), Doug (Sara) and Chris (Chelsey); and his siblings, Andy Girard and Irene Girard. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.

Donations in memory of Maurice may be made to Madford Cemetery, Box 154, Douglas, MB R0K 0R0.
