He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cantlon and Emma Cantlon; his parents-in-law, Lloyd and Ruth Ellingson; his son-in-law Wayne Peters; and his siblings, Evelyn Jasper, Greta Premeau, Mabel Walker and Ernie Cantlon.

He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his daughter Wendy Peters; his grandchildren, Trisha Phinney (Bob), Trevor Peters (Amy), Travis Peters (Randee) and Tarissa Moore (Devin); his daughter Vicky Wood (Allan); his grandchildren, Chas Wood (Regan) and Brea Wood; his son Darcy Cantlon; his grandchildren, Stephanie Cantlon and Cortney Cantlon; and his brothers-in-law, Arnold Ellingson (Barb), Art Premeau (Judy) and Bill Jasper. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
