She was predeceased by: her father Lawrence McLaughlin. She is survived by: her children, David, Kenna, Laurel and van; her husband John Simpson; her child Kelsey Simpson (Kevin Kotyk); her granddaughter Audrey Kotyk; her mother Mabel McLaughlin; and her siblings, Judith (Ken), Joy (Ralph), Jill, Tracy (Paul) and Grant (Paula). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
