He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Masters and Len Masters; and his brother-in-law Wayne Wilson. He is survived by: his siblings, Carl Masters of Toronto, Sherry Wilson of Winnipeg, Derek Masters of Ottawa and Paul Masters (Margaret); and his nephew Adam Masters of Brandon.
